Science was unable to explain the formation of the cosmic goop ball that fell from the sky unto the Dingdong Hotel in Friendstown, Indiana. Bast and her consort Rhodie had been expecting it, however. They relocated to the small Indiana town a week prior to the incident, and came prepared to sell goop ball souvenirs to the tourists.
