Melancholia

With his domain steadily shrinking as the humans multiplied, the old woodland god experienced frequent bouts of melancholia. Certain that he surely would pass from this world very soon, he decided that he must once agin enjoy the company of the elves, if there were any who had not gone into the West. He was fortunate to find Mirela living in a cottage at the edge of the Dorin Rud. She welcomed her old friend and did her best to cheer him up with tasty cakes and elven elixir.
