But the ISC had anticipated this situation and contracted Dr Schwätzer's Cybernetics Lab to provide a solution.  With his faithful assistants, Myra and Mara, the good doctor assembled a variety of appealing companions to help simulate the warm and happy feelings of home.

Done for the RRRR Story Contest April-May 2016. For this contest we had to make a little story in three images using eight (nine for me with my handicap) randomly pulled items from our runtimes. Each image had to include at least one and all eight had to be used among the three. For this story I pulled:
